Janis Ost

About me

Janis holds a BA in Humanities with an emphasis on cross cultural psychology from New College Of California (San Francisco, Ca.1986),
a Bilingual Teaching Credential from UCSC,(Santa Cruz, Ca.1990)and a Mild-Moderate Special Ed Credential (San Jose State, 2005)
She is currently working on her Master's in Special Education at San Jose State.
Besides her passion for teaching, she is a published writer (The Long Nights Of Mourning, 2003) and is a Board Member of The National Air Disaster Alliance/Foundation. She is an avid kick boxer and holds a purple belt in martial arts. Her favorite activity at Branciforte Middle School is doing brainteasers and writing with her talented students.
