About me
I knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was in kindergarten. In the last 30 years I have volunteered or worked with a variety of people, including preschool students to senior citizens, who have had various physical, academic or mental challenges. After being a stay-at-home mom, I started working for SCCS as an instructional technician, then a resource specialist for six years and now I have been a special day class teacher for the last four years. I have been developing a three year special day class program that includes three years of history, science, math, language arts and career exploration. I love teaching and especially like helping students with attention/behavior issues.
